With Andrew and David out of town, Matt Doyle and Bobby Warshaw take over. They start with a quick World Cup recap, breaking down Mexico's World Cup and Spain letting down the world, then get into the big MLS storylines.

Adama Diomande has 7 goals in less than 300 minutes ... How?

Dome Torrent has already started to make changes at NYCFC? ... What?

Chicago has now gone 5 unbeaten? ... Why?

Montreal have won 3 in a row and 4 of 5? ... Huh?

Plus...it might be time for Toronto to hit the panic button; what would that look like? Giovinco for Piatti... which team says no?

Calen Carr and Bobby Warshaw join Andrew Wiebe in the Green Room as MLS prepares to return from the World Cup break. Before the guys give all 23 teams a turn under the microscope, they round up all the MLS, Concacaf and PRO headlines from Russia. The good, bad and the ugly (and straight up false).

Then it's on to US Open Cup with the quarterfinals set before hitting all the headlines for the entire league at the almost half-way point. What's at stake? Who is worth watching? Who needs to hire a coach (looking at your Orlando)? Whose coach must keep things running as planned (that'd be you, NYCFC)?

Finally, a fun mailbag with listener questions/comments on the viability of a 48-team at the 2026 World Cup, changes to referee structure and the Mexico conundrum.

Patrick Vieira said recently that his head and his heart are in New York City. Turns out the future of his coaching career is in the south of France. Andrew Wiebe, Bobby Warshaw and Ben Baer try to nail down Vieira's legacy with NYCFC, then turn their attention to Domenec Torrent, Pep Guardiola's right-hand man for more than a decade and the blue side of New York's new boss.

In the second segment, Fox Sport's Rob Stone, Kate Abdo and John Strong join Andrew and David Gass to discuss the network's World Cup coverage. How did they prep? What do they expect? Is the criticism from outside warranted or overblown?

Also in this episode ... Alphonso Davies takes a flamethrower to the Orlando City backline, the race for the Wooden Spoon heats up, Seattle Sounders chase a big name in Liga MX and listeners give their USMNT head coach picks in the mailbag.
